Ron has been a licensed Realtor in Calgary since 1987. He also has a very diverse background in mortgage brokering and housing construction. With well over three decades of hands-on experience, you will be represented in every way to surpass your highest expectations.
Ron gives the same respect and courtesy he expects when confiding in a salesperson. Once the client gives you their criteria and agenda, you help pull and guide them towards their goals. The worst and quite frankly, the most insulting thing you can do is PUSH people to where you think is a better fit for them.
Clients today are very “information savvy” thanks to our computer age and usually, know what they want. If a buyer walks into Ron’s open house, Ron introduces himself. Some potential buyers just acknowledge this without reciprocating their name. This scenario arises mainly because of the “hard sell” Realtors that now, “push” further for their full particulars including phone #, emails, etc. This immediately makes most people uncomfortable.
I know from experience if I start getting the pressure tactics, I’m out of there. With today’s technology, it is so simple to assist clients without being invasive, and all in their timeframe. Ron’s style is only to clarify if they are “serious” clients or just “Lookie-Loos.” As this is a full-time career and the way we make a living, successful Realtors do not want to waste their valuable time and resources on tire kickers. However, if a client is serious, one of the many unintrusive things Ron can do is set them up on “Auto E-mail” programs that only sends them listings, “particular” to their criteria. Now they have all the full details on properties that Realtors have and can peruse them at their leisure.
If they find a property they would like more info on or would like to view; they call Ron. Also, if a client requires info on mortgages or pre-qualification, Ron has all the resources to assist them as well. The biggest misconception today is that your bank whom you have been with for 20 years, will give you the best deal. This is exactly the opposite! They already have you in their environment and control and will always quote you higher rates & less attractive terms than a competitor who wants to win your business, will give.

Curtis and May have been doing real estate collectively for 20 years. Previously May had a 15-year career with TELUS managing a team responsible for Petro Canada’s telecommunications. Curtis’ previous career was with IGA/Sobey’s stores here in Calgary. He managed and was accountable for entire store operations. Curtis and May operate as the Kramer Real Estate Team.
